So, what to pick when you design your own fabric? <strong>Polyester, compared to cotton, is more durable, but cotton is more skin-friendly<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Cotton is better than polyester since cotton breathes, and allows the skin to breathe by not locking in water next to the skin... <strong>The sweat evaporate more with cotton<\/strong> keeping you cooler and dryer.<\/p><p><strong>Cotton has a better feeling in summer<\/strong>. It's breathable, lightweight, and absorbs moisture, keeping you cool and comfortable. Polyester, on the other hand, can be hot, sweaty, and sticky.<\/p><p>It's clear to see that <strong>scientifically wool and cotton are better thermal insulators than polyester<\/strong>. Despite this, polyester is a good material for winter and would be scientifically better than a cotton-acrylic blend.<\/p><p>Polyester, on the other hand, is <strong>much more robust and durable<\/strong> than cotton and almost all blended fabrics, even under heavy load. Since the fibres are produced artificially, they can be directly given the desired properties (e.g. strength, stretchability, etc.).
